Today, I was between appointments and stopped at a Tim Horton’s for a coffee.  This particular store has no drive-thru (or parking), so I parked on the street, walked inside and ordered my coffee right away, as there was no one in line ahead of me.   I was ushered to the other end of the counter to collect my coffee.  I was a little preoccupied and left without realizing that I hadn’t picked up my coffee.  I continued on toward my car, which I had parked a short block away.  I was almost at my car when I realized that I forgot my coffee, but I love my coffee and I started walking back to get it.  I walked back in to the coffee shop and up to the counter.  I waited about 2 minutes, until a woman from behind the counter walked up with my coffee and apologized for the wait.
