Free fun for everyone in Port Credit Celebrating Canada Day and Port Credit’s 176th Birthday come July 1st. There’s going to be a parade with bands and floats. This year, Paint the Town Red is proud to welcome a number of participants in the Miss Canada/ Teen Canada and Miss International Woman Pageants. 13 Local Restaurants will be providing a Taste of Canada, right here in Port Credit, on Canada Day. All ten provinces and three territories will be represented and be sure to join witness the Giant Canada Flag Cake-Cutting Ceremony.

Another way we can Paint the Town Red is to support our local charities, so along with your Canadian spirit, bring some non-perishable food items to the parade, and The Mississauga Food Bank will collect it in grocery carts as their float passes by.

And of course, don’t miss the massive FIREWORKS display at Port Credit Memorial Park at the end of the day!
